Debanshu Bhaumik

"You don't take a photograph, you make it."

​I was born and brought up in Kanpur a small town in India. During the course of my engineering studies I developed a keen interest in photography. After completing my graduation in engineering I decided to pursue a career in photography and joined National Institute of Design for masters in photography design. 
Currently I am in the third semester of the course and learning the aspects of photography theories and photography as fine art. My interest lies in mixing of media and with the advent of the new technologies I see immense possibilities to expand photography into another realm where it is not just a still image but is more than that. 
The art of narration intrigues me and I always closely relate to stories. I always try to connect the dots and try to make something meaningful out of the inanimate things. My curiosity adds to it.
