With the increasing advances in the technology and due to the increasing wastage of electricity, automation of buildings has become a necessity in today’s world. An automated building is about the convenience of saving our time and effort. A typical automation system is composed of a set of equipment categorized according to lighting control, security, climate control, and entertainment. Automation is very flexible; we can combine all these categories into one or even create new settings, too. It has various applications and can be applied in homes, hospitals, offices, hilly areas buildings, military camps etc.
The aim of this project is to control the electrical appliances through a remote control using radio frequencies, again focusing on user experience.
